What is the Vincit way to work?

Our basic unit is a team of 5 - 9 persons with different degrees of experience and varying skill sets. The teams organise their work according to the Scrum method, and they can be responsible for several customer projects at the same time. The whole team meets the customer regularly during incremental deliveries and feedback sessions.

In software design, the core methods of Vincit are lean architecture design, automated testing, refactoring, continuous integration, and code reviews. The teams follow and improve their ways of working continuously. Vincit is a technology-independent vendor, but each of our teams has their own area of expertise. Vincit has team profiles ranging from device programming (for example C/C++, Linux, Gtk+/Qt) to background systems (for example  Java, JEE, EJB3, AJAX, databases)

A successful team always consists of professional and enthusiastic software developers and testers. At Vincit we are serious about developing our competence. Among other things Vincit supports its employees' hobbies related to the field and their own competence development, for example, in open source projects.
