Agile software projects

Our main service is a software development project, which delivers a tested software product to our customer. We deliver platform and application projects, both of which are carried out with Vincit's ISO 9001 certified operations model based on agile methods. Specification and implementation are always included in our projects. We give our projects a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

 

Example: Prototype in a month

Customer need. Prototype project delivers a concrete software solution to be used in a usability study, market research, or demo purposes. Another common use is to test the feasibility of a technological solution or some functionality before launching a large-scale product development project.

Description. A prototype project focuses on a few select features and/or UI windows, without extensive testing or emphasis on scalability.

 

Duration. Usually 1 - 2 months, the first version is delivered within a week.

Example: An application project

Customer need. Application projects focus on creating mobile, web, or desktop applications that are intended for wide distribution. Vincit has experience of both consumer and business-to-business applications.

Description. Application project focus is to create a first-class solution. The main difference compared to a prototype project is the increased amount of design and quality control. The project includes design and implementation of the required functionality including documentation and automated testing. Further development needs are taken into account.

Duration. Usually 3 - 6 months. During the project deliveries are done regularly to help our customers follow the progress.

Additional services. We work together with Leading Innovation Ltd. who provides us user experience research and design. 

 

Example: Platform and system development project

Customer need. Platform and system development projects create a product platform or its part. Project can consist of a custom API or a complete embedded solution from drivers to user interface framework.

Description. Project focus is on documented, modular and well-defined interfaces with scalability and performance in mind.  Testing of low-level components and their interfaces are automated.

Duration. Usually 3 - 6 months. During the project deliveries are done regularly to help our customers follow the progress, and start user interface and application development in parallel with the platform project.
